Hi! I'm Colin, a full stack developer with 30 years of experience. Clients appreciate my broad perspective on software development: from robust technical solutions to usability and business goals. For me, good software is not just functional, but also performant and maintainable over time.

My passion is building innovative solutions that are both technically powerful and user-friendly. I am constantly learning new technologies and improving my skills. In my free time I enjoy developing apps for various platforms, including iPhone,iPad, Windows and Garmin. I have also developed several NuGet packages.

What truly motivates me is solving complex problems and creating digital experiences that add value. I believe in collaboration, transparency and continuous growth – both for myself and for my clients.

Today that means agentic AI development: building AI systems that don't just react, but also reason and act autonomously.

Work Experience

Within the world of fintech and public services I have gained extensive experience, with engagements at Omniplan, UWV, Vattenfall and various other government agencies and financial institutions. In these projects I have served as (lead) developer, software architect and consultant.

My specialisation lies in developing modern, scalable web applications using technologies such as .NET Core, Angular, Azure and DevOps. I also have extensive experience building secure and robust systems for the government, including DigiD, Digikoppeling and identity management solutions.

Delivering digital solutions that meet high standards of performance, security and usability is a constant thread running through my work. I am always looking for ways to improve and make systems more efficient.
